Section 115
Vehicle speed determination

(1) If the department deems it necessary to determine the speed of driving a vehicle in relation to a public place, it may determine the speed of the vehicle at that place and prohibit driving the vehicle at more than that speed. In the place where the speed has been determined, the vehicle should not be driven at a speed higher than the prescribed speed (2) In accordance with sub-section (1), the speed limit has been determined and speeding is prohibited in public places, and the department shall cause notices or signs to be affixed or installed.
(3) Sub-section (1) shall not apply in the case of vehicles used in connection with fire brigade, ambulance and patient transportation work. But such a vehicle must use a special sound and light to warn the other vehicles on the road.
